I’ve done this before and agree that it is definitely preferable to the scratch cards. My problem is that I have to use my roommates computer to make payments on Taobao because I don’t have Windows installed on my computer. However, I just got Crossover installed today which allows me to install Windows apps and hopefully I’ll be able to use that. For anyone using a Mac, Crossover is great because it doesn’t require a Windows install, it just runs Windows programs.
