I registered ChengduEvents dotcom years ago with the intention of doing exactly this. I ended up having a difficult time integrating it into Chengdu Living while simultaneously managing my other daily responsibilities though, so it got sidelined for years. What it really requires is someone or a community to post events to it on a regular basis. If you or anyone else is interested in helping, shoot me a PM.
