We have the same problem, China Telecom says they only reserve a very limited bandwidth for foreign websites so when traffic is high (in our xiaoqu in the evenings) it gets so crowded that they cannot deal with the traffic anymore. In the morning, the situation is much and much better here. We also have very regular ‘cuts’ where the connection is broken for a fraction of a second, making a lot of sites stop downloading. Our upgrade to 20M did not make much of a difference, either.
