Chinese School Search Engine Needs Advice

We are founding a  website to search best  Chinese language schools and teachers . It’s a  search engine ,but only for Chinese language schools and teachers ,like Qunar.com to some degree ( a search engine focus on travel  online , listed in u.s. in 2013).  We want to know more real demand on Chinese study from foreign friends. So please tell us your idea. we  want to make it easy for you to find good Chinese school  and teachers, and to  learn Chinese.

How will this be better than using Google to find a Chinese school?

If I were looking for a Chinese school in a city in China, I would just Google “Chengdu Chinese language school“. That seems to work pretty well.

we would not only show schools to you,but also rank them according to many aspects. We would maybe  advise  you with a combination of teachers, for example， A teacher for pinyin, B teacher for writing, and another teacher for grammar. We hope best teachers can teach best content for the one need most.

We want to simplify the learners’ work to find a  school or teacher suit them most. They can no need to try the school or teacher one by one.

Your only hope to compete will be to include even small schools in your list china wide. I have serious doubts it is possible. Not to mention that a search engine alone has a very limited use.

Thank you for your recommendation of CUCAS. It’s a very good website. But there is a big difference between CUCAS and our website. We would like to cover  Chinese language schools (only language schools) all over the world not only the one in China. Our business model is like a combination of Groupon +Tmall.com(a company of  Alibaba Group). Learners pay online and consume offline in the Chinese schools. We  are not only a Chinese language school search engine ,but also provide other thorough service to make sure our Chinese learners can learn Chinese well.

I agree, this sounds like an extremely long shot. CUCAS at the high end, Google at the low end.

Maybe you are right. So we want to get more information before we really started. We will do more research these days.
