I know a lot of people in Chengdu that play Dota 2 but like none that play LOL… which is odd because LOL is all I ever see people working in electronics markets playing. CS:GO is infinitely more popular here than any BF or CoD game, probably because of all the decent servers in and around China.
I have not tried CS:GO but Im really interested cause I played CS for almost ten years. As for DOTA2 It’s weird that I have not seen anybody play DOTA2 around.
Well i do play LOL on chinese server from time to time, so yeah. But why do you ask?:)
Personally prefer EVE and GW 2 🙂
EVE is a little complicated for me but GW2 is cool.I wonder how you play GW2 cause the lag is just intolerable even through VPN
I’m player of BF3! problem is my ping… yes isn’t too much famous in China like CS, LOL, WoW or WOT…

P.S. Some games aren’t famous in China because can’t be easly cracked and expensive…
Dunno, i dont havy any lags in GW at all. And i cant even use VPN cause i live in dorms and forced to use univercity’s internet 🙂
Sigh I have a 3Mb ADSL, enough for work (isn’t true because Skype falling down) and play it’s a damnation!
Alex if you want you can try a VPN because use your internet line! 😉

Yeah its F2P with a cash shop. This model becomes more and more popular lately from what i see.
As for VPN i dont really need it, since none of the sites i use are blocked by the golden shield. So i can still download my porn in peace 🙂
Though i suppose i could try some WTFast or some other VPN when things will get bad but up to now i have 0 experience with them, never needed.
Nice my BF3 ID:0_0ArchangelT_T usually play on HongKong servers and the ping is around 60, pretty good for my 6M ADSL
EA just proclaimed the project of BF4 and will release it in 2014.
Guild Wars 2 has a $60 price tag, after which there’s no monthly fee. It’s not fully F2P like LoL or HoN or whatever.

I’m also a high-elo player on LoL EU server, and am currently contemplating leveling up here in China. (Managed to make a character after a bit hassle with the ID system and am level 6 ATM.) My chinese skills are non-existant though atm so communication is hard, not that it really matters at pre-30. ; )

Anybody know how to type Chinese when playing GW2? I know Microsoft Input Method can do but it doesnt work for my PC.
