ParticipantIt would probably suit me better to make it later on in the evening.
We could make it 6 or 7pm?
How does that sit with people?

Okay, lets call it 7pm this Saturday at the Wenshu Temple.
Hope that’s cool with everyone!
Hope I can get there without getting lost…

ParticipantHi, Do you know what time the restaurant at Wenshu closes. The temple closes at 6pm, what about the restaurant?
September 5, 2012 at 10:11 am #20573Elizabeth391
ParticipantHi Guys, just tried looking up the closing time on google, and found this post on trip advisor about Wenshu Temple Restuarant…
Quote:“Restaurant closed”Reviewed July 23, 2012
Tried to find this restaurant but apparently it is currently closed for construction. The tea house also.
Do we know if this work has finished and it is open again?

ParticipantI found a number for Wenshu, will try to call tomorrow at lunch, the number is 028 869 52830. I don’t know if they speak english, so if anyone can call and speak in chinese that will be great. Let’s think of an alternative if anything…

ParticipantLol, this is becoming a bit of a fiasco, isn’t it?
Just spoke to Vic – he says the Wenshu Temple is still open and closes at 9pm on Saturday.
I don’t mind where we go – we can choose somewhere else if people want.

IonaParticipantI’ll be joining you guys on Saturday at 7pm! Shall we meet outside the temple, itself (the area around the temple is a little big)?
September 7, 2012 at 6:27 am #20627Elizabeth391
ParticipantHi Outside at 7pm tomorrow is perfect for me, as I havent been before! Is there a main entrance or something where we can meet?
September 7, 2012 at 10:51 am #20655Sara
MemberSo outside the temple at 7pm?
September 7, 2012 at 2:30 pm #20665Sandi
ParticipantYep, outside the temple. See you all tomorrow!
You bringing that bottle of wine with you Iona…? x
September 8, 2012 at 1:12 am #20673Jenise
ParticipantI haven’t been to the temple but did some searching and found this
“The entrance to Wenshu Temple is a short way down an alley off Zhongren Lu, just north of Wenshu Station.”
By that it seems to be only one entrance, see you at 7pm
September 8, 2012 at 2:58 am #20676
IonaParticipantYes, I’ll bring along a bottle of wine! See you later!

IonaParticipantIt was great to meet you guys last weekend! Any plans for this Saturday evening? I believe The Sultan & The Hemp House are having anniversary parties on Saturday night. If you wanted to meet up for a meal, we could go somewhere in Yulin e.g. tomato hotpot, Chinese dishes (tian tian is good, with not just spicy options), mushroom hotpot (not spicy & can add meat) & other options that I can’t think of now. Then can walk to The Sultan to check it out & have a drink or two then off to the Hemp House (in the East). What do you think?
