    07/11/2015 – 08/11/2015  two-days-trip to  Mengtun Valley, which is the nearest Tibetan area from the city, only two hundred kilometers away from Chengdu.
    Itinerary
    D1: Chengdu – Wenchuan – LaojunGou – WuPeng – HeishiBaoTan
    Depart Chengdu by van at 8 am to Shangmeng Village pass by  Wenchuan and Xuecheng, we will get lunch here, then have a  leisure walking tour for 5 hours to our destination. we camp here at night. it is a good place for taking pictures.

    D2: HeishiBaoTan – Chengdu
    Depart after breakfast to Shangmeng Village the same way then back to Chengdu at 3 pm

    A Weekend tour to Mengtun Valley the Nearest Tibetan Village from Chengdu.
    What we will do:
    • Visit the nearest Tibetan village from Chengdu
    • Interact with Tibetan family and enjoy traditional Tibetan life
    • Visit a Tibetan temple to learn about Tibetan Buddhism
    • Leisure walk in the river valley and camp in the forest
    Activity introduction:
    Mengtun Valley is about 200km away from Chengdu, where Jiarong Tibetan & Qiang ethnic tribe live. Going up along the massive Minjiang River from Dujiangyan city, with about 3 hours’ drive, we will go into the nearest Tibetan & Qiang Ethnic Tribe area. Legend says that Qiang ethnic tribe living in the upstream of Minjiang River in the high mountain area was the ancestor of Sichuannese.
    Here in Mengtun Valley, there are many villages and rivers. And this 2-day weekend excursion takes us to explore the nearest Tibetan village from Chengdu, walk and camp in the virgin forest.
    Detailed Itinerary
    Day 1 Chengdu to  in Mengtun Valley (Walk in Blackstone Deep )
    AM: Drive about 3 hours to Mengtun Valley
    PM: After lunch (prepared food or fastfood ) , walk to the camping site—Blackstone Deep
    Evening: Bonfire party with barbecue dinner. ( It depends )
    Night: Camping in the wild
    Walk information:
     Distance:15km
     Time to complete: approx. 4-5 hours
     Trail condition: flat valley road, which is about 2-3 meters wide
     Day 2 Mengtun Valley to Chengdu
    AM: We walk back to Tibetan village and walk around the village, visit the Tibetan temple, learn about Tibetan Buddhism.
    PM: After lunch we drive back to Chengdu
    Activity cost: 400rmb/pp

    Departure Time: 8:00 AM from Chengdu
    Level of difficulty: Soft walk involved

    Note:
    1、Child for this tour must be above the age of 8 accompanied by the adult
    2、Meals are NOT include. You should prepare food and take it by yourself. If you want to have meals in the local Tibetan family, please tell your guide ahead, he will reserve it, which cost 50rmb/pp
    3、If you need a bearer please let your guide know and it costs 350rmb/pp.
