I Have a Cat Situation: Help.

Hi all,

about six months ago I happened upon a stray kitten in a trash bin with a noose around its neck. I felt like the right thing to do was take it in. It was checked by the vet and given its jabs.

I am not a cat person and have been looking to find a new owner for this cat for a while now, but not had much luck. She (its a girl) is very cute and affectionate, potty trained and good tempered. She is scared to go outdoors so is very much a house cat.

I am leaving on Wednesday night (29th) for one month and have nobody to look after her. So my question is, would anyone like a 10 month old cat?

If not, does anyone know of a cat/animal shelter which tries to rehome pets? I really have no other alternative and it would break my heart to just put her back out on the street.
