We just move to Chengdu for a couple of weeks, and we are trying to get familiar with this city and make more friends here. Here we have some questions for your help. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    1. Does anybody recommend some places foreigners go often where we could make friends in the city? Like cafes, bars, etc.
    2. How you guys spend weekends? Any nice places to recommend for Hiking or Cycling? And if we want to find a place for bonfire party nearby Chengdu? Do you have any suggestions?
    3. Does anybody know the local travel agency who could arrange some outdoor activities for foreigners ? We heard about there are some local outdoor clubs but they only organize Chinese. Is there special server for foreigners we could join?

Explore the unique landscapes, learn more about Sichuan culture and see what makes Chengdu the land of abundance through this bike tour. This one-day bike tour starts at the Nongke village in Pixian County, which is considered to be the origin of village tourism in China. Located only 28 miles (45 kilometers) away from Chengdu, Pixian County is a typical representation of rural life in the west of Sichuan plain. Cycling through the Sichuan countryside is like journeying into the past, where you can enjoy scenes of rural life untouched by Chengdu’s progressive development….
