There are two ways:

1. Upload your photo to anywhere on the internet and link to it from the forum (hit the “insert image” button on the visual post editor)
2. Click “choose file” and upload. That will attach the image to your post. This won’t work with very large photos (over 500kb).

I always attach and then after posting “edit” the post adding the attachment link in the add “img” tool.
