moving with dog to chengdu

Hi, me and my friend are about moving to chengdu in the summer. i have a small dog, and i cant find any information about the regulations in chengdu.

what visa do i supose to have if i want to bring my dog into chengdu via beijing?

I saw that if im going to shanghai or beijing, I need to put my dog in a quarantine, but does anyone knows what happen if im just landing for a connection there?
and, do you know if there is any problem to find a house that will permit own a dog?

I have never done this but my understanding is that taking a dog from Beijing to Chengdu shouldn’t be too difficult. Bringing a dog to China from outside of the country will be a huge hassle. I would try Googling it. Good luck!

Hey! If you change the airports, means step on China land  in Beijing, they will take your dog for quarantine if you show the dog. Then you will have to come back for a dog after 30 days period and take him back to Chengdu by air, they do not allow any pets in trains.

We had same situation two monts ago with our cat. So it is better for you to check if your flight connection is in the same airport before starting your journey!
