Non-Chinese Asian grocers?

Hi all,

Random one here. Looking for some Indian/Thai groceries (various dals, Thai shrimp paste, palm sugar, blah blah) and, before I Taobao it all, I thought I’d see if anyone knows of grocers around who might stock these sorts of products. Presumably the Indian and Southeast Asian restaurants in town—even if they’re not-so-great—get their supply from somewhere.

Hi I have seen various Indian/Thai products in Carrefour in Tongziling and Auchan check the import/export aisle. I would suggest checking out the markets near Sichuan university campus as a few of my friends found Indian products randomly placed in the market but be prepared to spend a bit of time looking for them it could be a hit and miss situation.

Forgot to mention that Sabrina’s might be a costly suggestion or Paradise Indian take-away near the university campus might be an option although I am not 100 per cent sure if it is still open.
