Cool. I am lookin for a bike, but what are the odds of getting caught by cops? I am seriously goin to dish out 6500 rmb for one, but 700 is a steal.
Questions:
– Any accidents with teh bike?
– Top speed?
– How many liters it can carry?
– Have you went through Tienfu Square, if so, what were the cops reaction?
– Gears?

No Accidents that i remember…
Top Speed: 60-80+..you can achieve above that…but in current traffic, speeding is not a reality…
Tank carries <5 L… full tank for 20RMB
Cops : it depends on time and situations etc…during early morning we can go anywhere in chengdu…but after that there will be cops everywhere until noon… But usually cops won’t stop foreigners…but it’s better to avoid cops as possible…
No gear..
