Second Hand Second Story is Chengdu’s first second-hand consignment shop located in Tongzilin (紫竹北街15号 | Zi Zhu Bei Jie 15 Hao | 周二Tuesday to 周日Sunday 11:00AM-9:00PM)
At our shop we offer second hand clothes, kitchenware, bags, books, shoes, knick knacks, and selected electronics for purchase.
Every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday anyone is welcome to bring their own gently used, cleaned/washed goods to consign (to be sold for money at our shop).
We offer two options for consignment:
1. On the Spot: If your item(s) are in great condition and meet the style standards of our shop, we offer cash, WeChat money, or store credit on the spot and purchase your items directly from you.
2. Post Sale: If your item(s) are in great condition but we are not sure how they will do with our customers OR if you want to decide the price at which the item is sold, we help sell your item(s) within a 50-60 Day period and share the profit with you once they have been sold. We offer cash, WeChat, and Store Credit. *Stop by the shop for details
We also have on-going monthly events:
1. Second Thoughts Workshop Series: We host bi-monthly FREE community workshops exploring topics related to environment, exchanging information, style, fashion, identity and more.
2. SWAP: Starting August 2016, we host Sunday Brunch SWAPs. A SWAP is where individuals can exchange, barter, and contest for goods without having to “BUY” them. Each SWAP will have a special theme (hats, winter coats, men’s knick knacks, mugs, etc,.). Each SWAP will include delicious brunch menu & drinks (adult beverages too) by local businesses.
