KeymasterDoes this networking event focus on any particular topics? How is it structured?
Thursday is getting pretty sloppy between 25rmb mojitos here, wine night at The Living Room nearby, and margarita night at Cakey Butta.

ParticipantTuesday not Thursday! Hopefully Tuesdays are not too sloppy.
The idea is to have a very open and informal event for the expat community in Chengdu. Professionals, teachers, students, job-hunters are all welcome. No entrance charge.

ParticipantHaha, JerryS has the right idea as always. Hopefully next Tuesday’s event will also open Lazy Pug to a whole new crowd of fine food loving customers too.
Hope many of you will make it a week from now. Should be fun!

ParticipantThanks to Charlie, Jacob, Larry, Walid and other guys from Chengduliving who made it along last night.
The first free Chengdu Business Connection event was a great success, so hopefully we’ll be doing this again next month. Everyone is welcome to join!

KeymasterGreat night last night – really good food and drinks from the Pug as expected, and a great turnout at the networking event. I met some someone who’s been in Chengdu for thirteen years there! Impressive.
Thanks Michael for organizing this and Dana and Danny at the Pug for creating a special menu just for this. Those sliders were awesome and we already know that the Pug has the best drinks around, but the drink specials last night were pretty incredible.

Participant@Charlie: Thank you for your support of the Pug since we opened in 2011. The food presentation was sliding a bit as we got very busy, but hopefully the taste was there!
On another note, we have added some new things to the menu (mixed slider plate, a Middle Eastern dish with couscous, hummus, tabbouleh and homemade mint yogurt, ribs, etc…) and constantly looking to improve current menu items. We finally found a consistent supplier for tastier beef (and much pricier!) and will rotate in new items.
@Michael: Thank you for asking the Pug to be the venue for your event last night. The staff had a lot of fun too. Anytime.D and D
