Vulkano!

Anyone here use this? I like my History/Discover/HBO/BBC channels as well as all kinds of sports. Is a product like the Vulkano (or Slingbox) doable in Chengdu? If I did go this route, can I buy everything–Vulkano, Cable/Dish package–everything from within China, or is it best to buy a Vulkano in my home country, set it up at my bro’s or parents’ house, connect that way and just take it with me to China?

There was an article in CDL about 10 months ago,but no posts since.Jack Chen advertised as an installer.If you live in an apartment complex you need permission from building management to install a dish.It wil NOT be given.If you install the dish inside,facing through a window in the correct direction it may work.Even so,I would not advertise the fact.The installer should “wrap hide” the dish.There are people who will report you to the police, anonymously of course.About 3800 RMB for the first year.
