    Hey guys,

    I finally got my place sorted at Times Residence and moving in on the Friday. The landlord gave me some funds to purchase a electric clothes dryer and a dishwasher.

    Does anyone know where I can buy these appliances and also is there somewhere where they also do the installation?

    Don’t get to Chengdu for a month, but a cursory check seems to indicate that there is an IKEA in Chengdu. I’ll be starting there for household odds n ends.

    Guomei is an appliance store like Best Buy that is everywhere. In Chinese its: 国美

    Thanks guys was able to find a dryer luckily. Some one was selling theirs as hey were moving, So I saved a little.
