I’ve had some troubles with the getting linked back to the competition page after signing in. After you sign in it goes back to the main ctrip page. I always have to come back here to this forum to get linked back into the voting page.
Would like to vote for other genres as well ;). Don’t make me unleash my small army of students to vote for me on this website haha.

I recently bought a book that I couldn’t find on the Chinese version of the site, and splurged for the priority shipping. It was to my door in less than 7 days, with detailed tracking and everything. Kinda spendy, but reliable, and on schedule.
I’m hoping more publishing companies will jump on the kindle/ibooks/nook bandwagon. It’s so nice to have the same book on my laptop, tablet, and ipod.

Is there any particular reason you don’t want to just purchase some of those items here? For sure bring as much clothing as you can. As far as electronics go, just pick up a power converter before you come (or pick it up here) and everything will work fine.
I have no idea how much shipping costs are for all these things but I think it would be cheaper/way more convenient to just buy that stuff here. How long do you plan on staying?
Haha, sorry I took so long to reply. I couldn’t get the map to work (I just figured out it works best with the vpn on) so I just assumed I was really far away. Your “wack” label seems fitting though. If you guys find an indoor floor I might come. I also have a pair or Jordans that are collecting ridiculous amounts of dust.

I only know of 2 decent art supply stores in Chengdu. Most of the stuff is painting supplies, but you might be able to find what you are looking for. One is at Chunxi Lu of all places, near the south entrance, across from Chicony, on the fourth floor of a sunglass shop. I don’t know the name but it is pretty big. The other one is about one block west of the Tianfu Plaza Mao statue.
