There is a very bad language school called VERTIGO / MAI MAI operating in Chengdu.

ALL expat/chinese jobseekers are advised to stay away from this criminal organization, they are renowned for the bad treatment of foreign and chinese teachers, rip-off money from teachers and their clients and have their teachers working illegally on illegal/fraudulent work permits and visas because they do not obtain them for their workers. They have recently brought about false drug related charges and serously violated the rights and career reputation of one of their foreign teachers too. PLEASE DO NOT INVOLVE YOURSELF OR FRIENDS WITH THIS CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION. Also if you wish to contact myself or a number of other former teachers/parents of this school VERTIGO / MAI MAI to corroborate the above please feel free to contact me.

And they have changed their name to MAI MAI obviously to try and distance themselves from their deplorable reputation – thank you to the other foreigners who have brought this to my attention – I say again- STAY AWAY from this criminal organization!
