i suggest the website: http://www.livinginchengdu.com , there are many house sources on the page, you can have a try, it is english version. and the rental there is not expensive except the service apartment. Good luck.

Can you read Chinese? if you can , i suggest you to Douban, https://www.douban.com/location/chengdu/
there is a section for the coming events, like concert,meloddrama, stage play and other coming events. Some of the events are free, but some need tickets.

https://www.scqckypw.com/ you can buy your ticket here, it is an official website for tickets. and if you go the bamboo forest in winter, you’d better ware more warm than in Chengdu. When you there, you can try the rice in bamboo. By the way, Zigong is not far from Yibin, you can also go Zigong to visit the dinosaur museum, the most large one in China.
