MemberThanks Chris ! It appears you’re a guru.
What about China Telecom ? Does it require a suitable device on their 3g-network ? How is their 3g network speed ? (might be more convenient to sell out my italian mobile and buy a new one there). I’m gonna move there for at least 2 years. Any link to english language websites is wellcome.
How is Unicom 3g coverage in Chengdu and surroundings ?
Thanks (once again)

MemberWill my italian Samsung Galaxy S2 (unlocked) work in Chengdu ?
I need a 3g network connection, not just voice and messaging.
These are my mobile cellphone tech specifications:
http://www.samsung.com/it/consumer/mobile-devices/smartphones/top-smartphones/GT-I9100LKAITV-spec
GSM&EDGE Band: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Band: 850/ 900/ 1900/ 2100
CDMA Band: 850/ 900/ 1900/ 2100
TD-SCDMA Band: N/A
GPRS: yes
EDGE: yes
3G : yes
What voice and 3g-connectivity providers will i be able to use ?
Thanks !

MemberHi Jerry,
nice to hear that you can understand the italian language.
“partly”: it’s a pity !
I think you got the gist ! Good ! 😉 They were not 3 years of failed italian.
😛
May be i’m gonna have the chance to help you refresh your italian.
Where’re you from ?
Ciao

I’m glad to see that there are some native english speaker as well in Changdu ! Nice to meet ya 😉 (…for now only in the forum…)
Di che cosa ti stai occupando ? Ci sentiamo 😉
Ciao a tutti -> (Hi to everybody)

MemberHi everybody,
my name is Massimiliano (just Max for friends), i’m italian (middle Italy)
i’m planning to move away to Chengdu, and i would like to make some new friends, or make contact with italians.
I would like to know more about job opportunities (in Chengdu) for an italian who can’t speak Chinese at all. I’m a native italian speaker with good english.
Ciao Federico 😉 Di dove sei ?
Hi everybody, and thanks in advance
