It’s when you go for a night out and move from one pub to the next.

We used to do a ‘sub crawl’ in Glasgow, where you would get off at every stop on the subway and go to a pub close by – could get quite messy!

🙂 this made me laugh.

Would very much like to learn some Chinese. Am slowly checking out all the advice on the forum and have downloaded a couple of basic lessons for my MP3 player. Will also check out Mandarin club.

I do feel that I would benefit from some private tuition however. If anyone has learned of any good tutors, or classes, or has any other advice in the meantime, I would love to hear from you.

I know this thread dates back a bit.

Wow, that is a crackin’ list right enough!! Brimful of asha – loved that song – it was at Number 1 for weeks.

And Sit Down – can remember everone would sit on the floor in a big line, clapping and singing away. We must’ve looked so cool! Think I had posters of all of these bands on my wall at one stage or another.

Never would’ve thought, that on my first few nights in Chengdu, I’d be reminiscing about the 90s!

Just arrived in Chengdu on Thursday. Really keen to meet some new faces so provided I can get a taxi to the venue, I’ll be there!
